A tribute to Coldplay
As close to seeing the real thing as you can get!
The band are an Award Winning live tribute band who are touring the length and breadth of the UK, from Glasgow to the Isle of Wight. They have a look-a-like and sound-a-like frontman (it is spookily just like watching and listening to the REAL Chris Martin!). A full live band and an incredible stage show. They really do give you the Ultimate Coldplay experience.
The show is based around the infamous sell-out ‘Head Full of Dreams’ tour which Coldplay have performed for the last 3 years. Playing all the classic hits such as Yellow, Scientist, Paradise, Fix You, Adventure of a Lifetime, Something just like this, Viva La Vida, In my Place, Sky full of Stars & more!
The band comprises of David (AKA Chris Martin’s double!) who is on Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar and Piano, Chris on Lead Guitar both of whom are from Stourbridge. Rob, originally from Manchester, is on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals. Then finally Neil, the bands Drummer and Backing Vocalist.
Although the band only formed in 2016, they collectively have over 100 years gigging experience between them! They also have a very strong fan base who follow them to gigs up and down the country – especially a hard-core nucleus of devotees from Stourbridge, where the band were formed.
Rob, the bass player, remembers rocking up to the band auditions in Birmingham 3 years ago “when I walked in Dave was sat behind the piano – I jumped and did a double take as he looked so much like the real Chris Martin from Coldplay – then he said “Hi howyadoin Bab?” in a thick Black Country accent!”
In a recent radio interview Dave, the lead singer, was asked “What would you ask Chris Martin if you ever met him?” to which he replied “I’d ask him has anyone ever told you you look just like Dave?”
They bring a huge amount of energy and presence into every show as they power through the hits, with more than a passing nod to Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ tour. In demand all over the UK, Europe and The Middle East for their brilliant sound and look a like show featuring a full live band.
